Affiliate disclosure

The short version: BreedCover is free because insurers may pay us a commission when you buy a policy through our links. It never costs you extra, and it never decides what we recommend.

How it works

We participate in affiliate programs with pet insurance companies. When you click a "Get a quote" button or similar link on BreedCover and then enroll in a policy, the insurer may pay us a referral fee - typically a flat amount per enrolled policy, or a smaller amount per quote request. You'll also see a short disclosure notice at the top of every page.

What this means for you

• Same price: you pay the insurer's standard price whether you use our link or go direct.
• How we compare: commissions don't determine our comparisons. We show typical plan features side by side so you can judge on the merits - reimbursement rates, limits, waiting periods.
• Placeholders: some quote buttons are marked as placeholders until our partner integrations are live. We'll only link insurers we've actually evaluated.

FTC compliance

This disclosure follows the Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and testimonials: any material connection between BreedCover and an insurer is disclosed clearly, near the recommendation, before you click.
